This just might be the beginning of something new

Hi.

Here are some more songs that I have added to these rapidshare kind of sites. Sadly, they are sung by me and are cover karaoke versions. So, if you're looking to download pirated songs, wrong place...

Tell me what you guys think... all comments on manan.singhi@gmail.com

TIME

Time

Of the three types of input that every activity needs, material goods, skills, and time, I've come to feel that perhaps the least understood is time. In conventional economics, it is treated as a commodity to be bought and sold at will, and therefore needing no special consideration. Yet experience suggests that the economics of time is not quite so simple.

We need time to work, to eat, to sleep, and to accomplish all the daily chores of living. We also need time to know and understand our mates, our children, and our friends. Most of our relationships, in fact, require more time than we have, and it is difficult to avoid the feeling that we could never have enough. Nor is our list of demands on our time complete. We have ignored the time we need to be alone, a necessary but invariably short- changed period.

I know many people, myself included, who often feel "time poor" and who bemoan this limitation. Perhaps this attitude is a great mistake. Perhaps if we were to embrace the limitations of time, to celebrate them and explore their implications, we would find that they hold an essential key to the fundamental attitudes and experiences we will need in a humane sustainable culture.

my ambition

Don't know where life is taking me. What I want to do and what I am doing at the moment, is totally unrelated. Perhaps this is the paradox of the human nature....Wanting to do something and ending up doing something totally different.

Someone told me that I am one of the few people whom they have met who know what they want to do with themselves, and that such people generally end up doing what they want to. I sincerely hope it is the same for me, though, at the moment, I don't see myself moving in that direction at all.

I am a creative person who likes 'creating' (sic). I do create, and am pretty good at that, but for some reason, can't seem to understand how to take it up professionaly or otherwise. I am sure there must be a way...Which way...Don't know.

My first attempt at creation was a movie (I have always thought that there is no better medium to project one's creativity). This was very well received by the public that got to saw it, which consisted of about 4 people. It was a story that I had made on the sport of Cricket and the way we, at my company play it.
The next one was for someone who was leaving for the US permanently, and this time, the audience reach was broader...About 20 people.
The reviews I received for this piece of 'creativity' were even more encouraging than the earlier one. I am seriously thinking of taking this up professionally, at least, that is what whoever has seen my videos has recommended to me. I wish I could upload the videos here for you who are reading this blog to take a look at the videos and post your comments here, but alas, I lack the resources.

I hope to make it big...Some day...And god willing, I will be there

Finally...!!! Uploaded my first video posts onto Google Video. Feels really good.

some facts...some fun

If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular?
After your hands become coated with grease, your nose will begin to itch.
If you change queues, the one you have left will start to move faster than the one you are in now.
When the body is immersed in water, the telephone rings.
The probability of meeting someone you know increases when you are with someone you don't want to be seen with.
When you try to prove to someone that a machine won't work, it will.

Me near the Thames. Smilin...well kinda!!!
This is ME!!!
